Language Immersion Challenge by Aston University

During lockdown, students were set a Language Immersion Challenge by Aston University which was open to all Year 7 to Year 10 students in England and was designed to keep them practising their target language whilst they were not able to attend school at that time. Students each received a booklet containing 14 activities for them to complete, ranging from sending an email, watching a film or reading a teenagers blog in the target language to name just a few. Participants had the opportunity to be awarded Gold, Silver or Bronze certificates in September depending on how many of the challenges they have completed.

Ritika Kumar in Year 8, was the only student to attempt the challenge, and worked really hard to complete the tasks set.  She was rewarded with a Gold certificate as she completed the whole challenge – well done Ritika!
