Coppice is an Academy and is a member of the Central Learning Partnership Trust. The Trust is the admission authority for the school. The Directors apply the regulations on admissions fairly and equally to all those who wish to attend. The City of Wolverhampton Council (CWC) will administer the admission arrangements on behalf of Central Learning Partnership Trust.
The policy for 2024/25 relates to the admission of pupils to Coppice School only. Heath Park School and Moseley Park School have separate admissions policies. An application can be made for a place for a child at any time outside the admission round and the child will be admitted where there are available places. An application should be made via the local authority by completing the in-year admissions application form which is available from Wolverhampton Council School admissions using this link: Changing schools | City Of Wolverhampton Council
Where more applications are received than there are places available, the published oversubscription criteria, as set out in the admission policy, will be applied. The full admission policy for 2024/25 can be downloaded by clicking on the link or a hard copy can be provided by contacting the school office. Parents are advised to read the admission policy carefully before making their application.
Deadline: The deadline for applications is 31st October.
The information in this booklet is for parents/carers of pupils due to transfer from primary to secondary school in September; for parents/carers applying for secondary school places after the normal intake in September, and for all other in-year transfers to secondary schools.
