School Uniform
Our school uniform is an important expression of our pride in ourselves as a school and we expect all students to be in the correct uniform.
If you have any queries please contact your child’s form tutor or Head of Year. If in doubt, check before making any purchases.

* Tailored trousers or skirt must be worn by girls. This gives a smart and ‘business like’ appearance to our students. A tailored trouser or skirt is like that which would form part of a suit. It is not tight; skinny; stretch lycra or drainpipe trouser and it is not a tight, short, tube, stretch or lycra skirt.
Please note: No sweatshirts, no trainers or fabric shoes
Uniform including ties, badges and jumpers are available from Crested Schoolwear.
Make up / Nail extentions – Make up and nail extensions are allowed by the school.
Hair colour – Dyed hair of any colour is allowed by the school.
Jewellery – The only jewellery which can be worn is:
- A watch
- One ring of sentimental value
- One small stud in the lobe of each pierced ear. No other items of body piercing jewellery should be worn.
- Students refusing to remove piercings will be placed in isolation
Any other jewellery worn in school may be confiscated
School bag – This is essential to protect the various books issued for which students are responsible.
It is advisable that when PE kit is used it should be put separately in a polythene bag.
All items of clothing should be clearly marked with students’ names. Students should wear the correct uniform at all times. If for any unforeseen reason your child is not wearing full uniform they should report to their Head of Year immediately on arrival at school. If a student persistently fails to conform to the school uniform they will be isolated until the situation is addressed.
PE Uniform
Black shorts & Polo shirt with School logo (compulsory)
Black socks with School colour stripe turn over (compulsory)
Black Tracksuit jacket with School Logo (compulsory)
We recommend shin pads for boys & we strongly advise students to wear a gum shield for active sports
All sports clothing is available via ParentPay and is supplied by Premier Sports.
Equipment
All students should bring the following equipment, to all lessons every day. These should be in a pencil case:
Pens (at least black and green), pencil, ruler, rubber, pencil sharpener and some crayons or felts.
Mobile Phones
Students are allowed to have their mobile phone in school for use during break/lunchtime only. This is a non-negotiable rule to protect the students and reduce the distractions in lessons.
If a parent wishes to contact their son or daughter they should contact the school.
The school can take no responsibility for the loss of personal electronic equipment.
