Exams and Data Assistant

Salary: CLPT07 – CLPT 11    £20444 – £22129 FTE pro rata

Term time plus two weeks

Moseley Park and Coppice are a secondary schools within the Central Learning Partnership Trust (CLPT). We are looking for an enthusiastic and committed individual who likes a busy varied job role

The role will involve supporting the Assistant Headteacher and Data Manager with the administration of all internal and external exams, data management system, tracking and reporting systems.

Applicants must have:

  • 5 GCSEs (grade 4/5) English and Maths are essential
  • Knowledge of Microsoft Word and Excel
  • Excellent communication and organisational skills
  • Superb organisational and attention to detail skills
  • Ability to work effectively in a team and motivated to work on own initiative
  • Good time management skills and a flexible approach

Key Responsibilities Include:

  • To support the operation of a comprehensive data management service to the school. Support the School Leadership Team, Leaders of Learning, Teachers, and Associate staff in all aspects of school data management through setting up and maintaining various rigorous data analysis, tracking and reporting systems.
  • Support with external exam entries (GCSE, Vocational and A level) and submit timely and accurate returns to exam boards
  • Support with internal examinations and reports

Learning Support Assistant

Salary (based on 34.25 hours per week) – £15008 – £15614
Term Time Only

Coppice are seeking to appoint compassionate, enthusiastic and committed Learning Support Assistants who have the experience and expertise to enhance the learning of different groups of pupils and support some of our most vulnerable learners to access all areas of the curriculum and enrichment despite the challenges they face.  The successful candidate will need to be:

  • a self-motivated individual and dedicated to supporting both groups and individual students
  • able to effectively work as part of a team, forming positive relationships with pupils, colleagues and parents alike
  • have high expectations of themselves and others
  • committed work in a school that is committed to continuous school improvement and provides outstanding quality teaching and learning

Applicants must have:

  • 5 GCSEs grade 9-4 (A* – C), English and Maths are essential
  • Excellent communication skills and an ability to work effectively in a team
  • Good time management skills, be well organised and competent

In addition but not essential:

  • Past experience of working in a school environment would be an asset but is not a pre-requisite
  • Some experience of working with children with Social, Emotional and Mental Health Needs or Autism Spectrum Disorder would be ideal but not essential

Key Responsibilities Include:

  • Working with individual pupils, groups or whole classes
  • Working collaboratively with colleagues to communicate key information, plan, deliver and support pupil provision
  • Liaising with parents/carers and external agencies

Coppice School offer exciting opportunities for graduates with further training and possible access to the initial teacher training programme, candidates will ideally hold a good Honors Degree, which is desirable but not essential
