City Summit

Two Year 13 students attended the City Summit: Tackling Youth Unemployment Together on Thursday 18 November, 8 am – 10:15 am at Grand Station, Wolverhampton. 

The event brought together key business leaders, organisations and young people from across the city to hear how a ‘one city’ approach is needed to tackle the issue of youth unemployment, to discuss the challenges, share experiences and find the solutions together. The sixth formers found it extremely interesting and will be taking part in further planned events to hear their thoughts and other 18-24 year olds about unemployment in the city and how to solve it.
