Year 9 Higher Education Future Champions – Wolverhampton University
Year 9 students attended Higher Education Future Champions event at Wolverhampton University as part of an experience aimed to inspire students by exploring opportunities within higher education and careers in sport. Students participated in a ‘World Cup in Action’ themed day, taking part in a variety of football-related activities. They had the opportunity to hear from university staff and current students about studying and working within the Sport sector. In addition, students will take part in a “Day in the Life of a Professional Football Club” experience at Walsall Football Club, gaining insight into careers such as physiotherapy, analysis, marketing, and coaching during the Autumn term of 2026-27.
