Year 9 students play at the Molineux
Wolves Foundation – Premier League Inspires – Play on the Pitch
Students in Year 9 have had the privilege of working with the Wolves Foundation as part of their Premier League Inspires programme. The programme has enabled these students to further develop their own inter-personal and self-management skills. To celebrate the end of the students completing the course, they were invited to the Molineux on Sunday 6th June to take part in the “Play on the Pitch” event. Students participated in a group workshop which took place in the Molineux board room, in order to build an awareness of current and former Wolves players of an ethnic origin who have or are enjoying successful periods with the club including trailblazers such as George Berry, Danny Batth and current Wolves Women player Jamila Palmer. After completing the workshop, the students then went to participate in a mini-tournament on the pitch in the sunshine with other students from St Peter’s Collegiate Academy. We would like to pass on our thanks to Liam Turner from the Wolves Foundation for all his hard work with the students this year.
