Year 9 & 10 Take On Futsal City Championship

The years 9/10 girls have recently played in the Futsal City Championships at Aldersley Leisure Village, playing against 5 different schools from across the City.

Futsal is played with a heavier ball and the rules are slightly different, for example no over head height kicks. Its a very fast paced game and requires good skill and fast feet.
Our girls have played in this competition last year and represented Wolverhampton at the Black Country games, unfortunately this year, with such short game we narrowly missed out and finished a respectful 3rd.

The girls, as always, showed real team spirit and determination throughout. A credit to the school.
