An innovative journey for Creative Pioneers 

I very much hope you are well and enjoying this beautiful weather,  

I am emailing to ask if you could kindly advertise the launch of ‘Project Xpedition’, delivered by Flexus Dance Collective and Arena Theatre, Wolverhampton.  

Project Xpedition – a new, aspirational programme aimed at Creative Pioneers aged between 12 and 21 years old in Wolverhampton and the Black Country, Telford and Shropshire and Stafford who have an interest in pursuing a career in the Creative Industries. 

Creative Pioneers will work as part of a highly-skilled, multi-disciplined Arts team across both Flexus Dance Collective and The Arena Theatre, building an industry toolkit through monthly workshops and discussions focussed on technical roles (lighting, sound, design), event management, project coordination, marketing, digital marketing and more. 

Alongside this, young people will have ownership over the design and development of an ambitious annual Art Events, and will become instrumental in shaping the offers of Arena Theatre and Flexus Dance Collective by becoming a member of the Youth Board for both organisations. 

Project Xpedition will be delivered one Sunday a month from September 2021 – August 2022.
