Curtain Raising Performance from Year 10 Students

The dance department kicked off the academic year with a project with internationally acclaimed Rosie Kay Dance Company. Over 3 days a dancer from RKDC created a curtain raiser on a group of our year 10 GCSE dance students based on the piece ‘MK Ultra’.

MK Ultra delves into the conspiracy theories on mind control that surround us in music videos and culture. The students worked hard over the three days to create a 10 minute work which was then performed on Tuesday 23rd September at Forest Arts Centre as a curtain raiser to RKDC’s performance of MK Ultra. Both Rosie Kay and her dancers were in awe of the standard. commitment and energy displayed by our students.
