Year 8 Rugby Tournament

This is the first year that we have reintroduced rugby to our very busy extra-curricular programme. The students either play for a team outside of school or have turned up for training and shown real commitment.

The tournament was a great way to introduce students from across the City to rugby. We played 5 games that were all very competitive, and the boys really got stuck into those tackles. Coaching was allowed to occur during the game by the staff and referee’s so students were able to learn during the game too.

The boys really enjoyed the games and are looking forward to their next matches.
