Wolverhampton Young Authors’ Event 2022

A number of our Y7 and Y8 students were invited to take part in this event where they were asked to write 400 words about ‘The Journey’.

A big well done to all those who entered and especially to the six students who made it through to the final which took place at Wolverhampton Grammar School on Thursday 17th February.

They represented our school fantastically engaging in a workshop where they came up with their own character ideas as well as working together to write a 100-word saga based on 3 items they had inside a box on their table.

A huge well done to one of our Y8 students who was a ‘Runner up’ in the Y8 category. You have done us and yourself very proud!
