Summer School

Summer School 2021

Our summer school of 2021 was well attended by 97 new intake Year 7 students. This lasted for 10 days and was delivered by Squirrel Learning and our own school staff on site.

The summer school was to support Year 6 students with their transition in adjusting to a bigger school – particularly those who are vulnerable.

• All students completed a set programme including an academic element with sessions in English, Maths and Science with additional focus on STEM Robotics, Filmmaking, Problem Solving challenges and sports activities

We received £12,335.18 in funding for the Summer School event which included some staffing although as this was a government-funded project our staff worked mostly on a voluntary basis.
