Pep the Poet

On Monday 30th November we had the pleasure of welcoming David ‘Pep’ Anderson (aka Pep the Poet) into school to run workshops with four of our Year 7 classes.

I am sure the students will agree that it was fantastic to be able to do something different to their usual lessons – something we would usually allow more opportunity for if it was not for the unprecedented times with which we are faced.

Mr Anderson commented on how well engaged our students were and I know that their teachers were proud of how they represented our school – showing respect and good spirit throughout the day.

The room was filled with fun and laugher from beginning to end as the students read and worked with poems he has written and published.
