Information regarding Exam Arrangements 2021
As the culmination of your child’s studies, A–level results are available on 10th August and GCSE results on 12th August. Your child has been made aware of this and that they will be asked to share details of their destinations when they collect their results.
Our policy for the management of the exam series can be found on the link below. Along with this is details of the process for appealing grades, if students meet the eligibility criteria. It is important to note that an appeal may result in a grade being lowered, staying the same, or going up. So if a student puts in an appeal and their grade is lowered, they will receive the lower grade. There is also the option to resit GCSEs and A–levels in the autumn term, which may be preferable to some students.
