Coppice Celebrating women

During the past week at Coppice, we have been collectively reflecting on the importance of supporting and empowering women. All students from Year 7 through to Year 10 have received an assembly that has highlighted the importance of why we celebrate International Women’s Day (Tuesday 8th March 2021) and we have had our Year 11 ‘GirlUp’ mentors supporting. It has been phenomenal to not only witness the support of all staff within the school, but also recognise how the assembly has had an impact on the mindset of students, and the choice of their words and actions.
