Benefits helpline launched
The council’s Welfare Rights Service have launched a helpline offering free, confidential benefits advice.
Anyone living in Wolverhampton can call the helpline for information on a rage of benefits that may be available to them, including Statutory Sick Pay, Employment and Support Allowance, and Universal Credit. The helpline also offers guidance to those already in receipt of benefits as to what impact (if any) the current situation may have on them.
The helpline can be accessed by email (firstname.lastname@example.org) or by calling 07966 292321. Opening hours are Monday to Friday, 10am -12pm and 2pm – 4pm. The team aim to respond to queries within 24 hours.
